Ekperimental semu / Quasi Ekperimental
Ekperimental semu (Quasi)
ini merupakan pengembangan dari True eksperimental design yang sulit dilaksanakan
khususnya di bidang sosial maupun pendidikan.desain ini mempunyai kelompok
kontrol tetapi tidak berfungsi sepenuhnya untuk mengontrol variabel variabel luar
yang mempengaruhi hasil penelitian eksperimen. Walaupun demikian, desain ini lebih
baik dari pre- eksperimen desain. Experimental semu merupakan bentuk desain yang
melibatkan dua kelompok paling sedikitnya. Satu kelompok sebagai kelompok eksperiment
dan satu kelompok lainnya sebagai kelompok kontrol.
Pelaksanaan
Ekperimental semu / Quasi Ekperimental
Pada kelompok
eksperimental semu adalah (1) kelompok tersebut diberi perlakuan .kelompok
eksperiment diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang akan
diuji keefektifannya dan kelas control juga diberi perlakuan dengan strategi pembelajaran
yang sudah ada .(2) kemudian dua kelompok tersebut diberi test akhir atau post
test. Untuk menganalisa hasil data empiris
maka hasil test akhir kelompok eksperiment dan kelompok kontrol dibandingkan dengan
uji hipotesis statistic dan jika hasilnya lebih tinggi post test maka disimpulkan
bahwa perlakuan atau treatment yang diberikan efektif dan jika nilai pretes lebih
tinggi disbanding post test maka dapat disimpulkan perlakuan atau treatment
yang diterapkan tidak efektif.
