A. Theoritical Framework
Based on the discussion in chapter I, in this chapter, the researcher describes some theories related to the speaking ability, action learning strategy, and conceptual framework.
2.1 The Definition of Speaking
Many definitions about speaking have been proposed by language. Speaking derives from the word “Speak”. According to Oxford dictionary, “Speak” means say things; talk, be able to use a language, make a speech, express ideas, feelings, etc.4 Speaking is the verbal use of language to communicate with other. In additional, Hughes explain that speaking in interactive and according to accomplish pragmatic goals through interactive discourse with other speaker of language.
Speaking is the productive aural/oral skill. It consists of producing systematic verbal utterances to convey meaning. Teaching speaking is sometimes considered a simple process. Commercial language schools around the world hire people with no training to teach conversation. Although speaking is totally natural, speaking in a language other than our own is anything but........
