INTRODUCTION
A. Background of the Study
Writing skills is one of the four important languages in human life. An
important reason is one of communication tools. Communication is not always in
verbal form, but it can also be in written form. When people communicate, they
will share their thoughts, ideas, and even express their feelings for some
purpose. In everyday life, people share news or information in the form of
newspapers, articles, or even short messages. In the field of entertainment,
writing is used to share the idea of entertaining the reader in the form of
short stories or cartoons. That is a written text.
According to Brown (2001 p. 335) as quoted by Cici
Riska Wiliyanti (2014), the process of writing requires a completely different
set of competencies and is fundamentally different from speaking. Learner should be
equipped with other language skills before learning to write because his or her
writing skill are reflected.
In addition, according to Puegrhrom & Chiramanee
(2011), it is likely that the writing is the most complicated and deserves
serious attention. Therefore it is a matter that needs to be seen in the world
of education in Indonesia, teachers must develop students' writing skills there
is no mistake in writing because in the world of education such as lecture
writing ability is very deep considering the writing katrya and as his.
But in terms of writing it is certainly easy to find
