This
thesis aimed to find out the development of the students’ vocabulary through
crossword puzzle in terms noun and verb at the first year students’ of SMA
Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar.
The method of this research
was Classroom Action Research hat consisted of two cycles. One cycle consisted
of four meetings. It means that there were eight meetings for two cycles. This
classroom action research was done at the first grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Makassar,
the sample of the research consisted of 26 students. The instrument wee
vocabulary test, it was used to measure
the students achievement in using Noun and Verb.
