SUMARLING. 2012. Improving students’ Writing through Imaginative technique at
the first year students of SMA Guppi Samata Gowa (A Classroom Action
Research) supervised by Abd Muin and Amiruddin. A Thesis of English Department, The Faculty
of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar
The objectives
of the research were to find out the improvement of the students’ writing Organization and
the improvement of the students’ writing Content through
Imaginative technique
This research used
Classroom Action Research that consisted two cycles. The research population
was the tenth grade of SMA Guppi
Samata Gowa academic year 2011/2012. The sample of this research
consisted of 30 students .The researcher obtained the data by using writing test and observation sheet.
The result of this research indicated that the improvement
of the students’ writing
organization was 54.66.
classified as good and the improvement of the students’ writing content was 42.83 classified as good. It could be stated
that the students’ writing through
Imaginative technique at the first student at SMA Guppi Samata Gowa
improved to good level after test in the second cycle
