1. Data :
segala keterangan atau fakta yang dapat dijadikan bahan untuk menyusun suatu
informasi.
2. Fenomenology
design : studi penelitian yang berusaha mendeskripsikan pemaknaan umum dari
sejumlah individu terhadap berbagai pengalaman hidup mereka terkait dengan
konsep atau fenomena
3. Hipotesis
penelitian :merupakan jawaban sementara dari rumusan masalah setelah peneliti
mengemukakan landasar teori, penelitian terdahulu ( previous studies) dan
kerangka konseptual.
4. Instrument
penelitian : alat untuk menggali data dalam penelitian. Untuk memudahkan
penyususnan instrument perlu disusun kisi-kisi penelitian ( blue print)

5. Reliabilitas
: sejauh mana pengukuran dari suatu tes tetap konsisten setelah dilakukan
berulang-ulang terhadap subjek dan dalam kondisi yang sama.
6. Sample:
bagian dari populasi. Sampel yang diambil haruslah representative mewakili
seluruh populasi karena hasil analisis dari sampel akan digeneralisasikan ke
dalam kesimpulan populasi.
7. SPSS :
adalah aplikasi untuk melakukan analisis statistik. SPSS adalah singkatan dari
Statistical Package for the Social Sciences
8. Variable
penelitian : suatu atribut atau karakteristik dari orang, obyek atau kegiatan
yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti untuk diteliti kemudian ditarik kesimpulannya.
